All ceramic veneered circoniumoxide crownThe lab produces a plaster model of the teeth form the impression (mould) that was taken in the patient’s mouth. They then scan the model with the teeth that were prepared for the crown. With this scan and special computer program, a base for the crown is constructed that is then milled from a block of zirconoxide (ceramic/(porcelain). The dental technician then applies ceramic powder onto this perfectly fitting base to construct an individual tooth. This is how metal-free all ceramic crowns and bridges are made. |
