Periodontal follow up


Diagnosis is one thing, therapy another. If dentistry wants to stand the test of time, the long term preservation of teeth is the key component of the chain.

After periodontal therapy, which is one part of the picture, it’s up most important, to follow it up with regular periodontal reviews that are tailored to the individual. If such a follow up does not occur, it is not possible to provide good care and a long term preservation of the teeth cannot be achieved.

Think about it. A clean tooth does not usually become sick. Therefore not only the oral homecare needs to be tailored to the disease, but also the professional measures that are taken, in particular the timing of the treatment.
