SuprastructuresA fibre glass or metal post can be placed in the canal to create anchorage for the crown that is placed on the coronal part of the tooth (the part of the tooth above the gums). It is often necessary to place a lab-made restoration (e.g. a crown) to guarantee long term stability/success of the root canal treated tooth. |
